- 5 to 8 chunks of garlic
- 3-5 pieces of whole red chili peper
- 3 Tbsp of white sugar
- half a whole lime
- 2 to 3 Tbsp of water
- 3 Tbsp of Fish sauce
- Remove the shells off of the garlic and the stems off of the chili peppers then add them to the mortar. add the sugar as well.
- grind the garlic and peppers with the sugar until the garlic and pepper are grind to very small pieces.
- add the fish sauce and water into the mortar then stir it with a spoon
- add the half lime and then stir it again.
- serve and enjoy.
